• Im pretty sure they are cheaper because the color wasn't as hot of a sale vs. Other colors. I bought these for my mother and they sound exactly the same as my black and red pair. Hopefully that answers your question.

• I think they were cheaper because of the color Perhaps they were discontinuing that color?? They are brand new and work great.
