Are beats 2 over ear and Beats 3 on ear? null

Beats studio (1,2,3) are over the ear. Beats solo (1,2,3) are on the ear.

The beats solo series is on ear headphones, while the studio series is over ear headphones

They are very small. Seems to be made for kids or teens. They are on ear, but because they are so small, they tend to bow out. Leaking sound as a result.
