• Nope, no cord needed at all. I’ve never had to use the cord for calling, I only use it when my beats battery is dead. Wireless works and can do anything the cord can do.

• Yes you can talk on them wirelessly, at first I thought you couldn’t but it works. I usually put them on just to make a phone call because the sound is so much clearer too. I haven’t had to use the cord at all.

• The work wirelessly and have a microphone on the outside of the earcup. Works rather well too.
