Same thing happened to me but there a 15 day return policy you might gave to contact apple

Please try again later.It has to be something to do with your phone or your interference with your phone if your headphones aren’t properly on your ears and you don’t have that set up or laid out in your phone format right it will not properly work right I also noticed with them if I don’t have them on my head as in like if I have them around my neck, yeah people can definitely not hear me because the mic is on the headphones themselves and that’s where it triggers it and receives and receipts that you are speaking and optimizes catching your voice responding the best way possible! Hope this helps you. I haven’t had any issues and I absolutely love them. Wouldn’t trade them in for anything.

Please try again later.I am definitely not an expert but I would say to return them because they may be defective and also it does say that it has a built in microphone on the description so I would most likely return them and if wanted replace them afterwards!! Hope this helps!! ♥️
