“I just received a pair of beats together with a purchase of a Mac air and i can only hear out of one ear. The ear that has controls has a very faint volume- it basically doesn’t work. How do I fix this?”

The beats may be defective I would return them to the store.

To reset your headphones, hold down the power button and volume down button for 10 seconds. When the Fuel Gauge flashes, release the buttons. Your headphones are now reset and ready to be set up with your devices again. Sometimes different retailers offer separate warranty or service plans for the products they sell. If you purchased one of these plans, you could check with the retailer about their service plan or warranty details.
