• yes through a USB charger but it is not a mount that is stable you would have to secure holder.

• No, Marty. The Belkin WIB001 charging stand has to be plug directly from a power outlet and not recommended to use in a car. Also, this charging stand is designed to support Qi-enabled devices but not yet tested with the above-mentioned device.
