“The port this plus into in my laptop is on the righthand side, but because this is on the left I can't plug it in and use it to set my laptop on like it's meant to... Has anyone found a way around this or one where the cord is on the right-hand side?”

• Flip it upside down. I had the same issue. There are slip resistant pads on both sides.

• The dock is made so that you can "flip" it and have the connecting plug on either side. For me, I have the plug on the right side.
