“I want to use older 2.1 computer speakers with a new PC and prefer not to use the 3.5mm port in front. The only connections at the rear of the computer are USB. Will this work solely as an audio adapter? (No charging capabilities needed or wanted)”

Hello there! Please note that the Belkin 3.5mm Audio & USB-C Adapter (NPA004) only allows you to use the 3.5mm aux jack for listening to music or taking calls. If you need simultaneous audio and charging, our RockStar USB-C Audio + Charge Adapter (F7U081) features two USB-C ports to support both functions at the same time.
