Will this charge with an Outerbox case? null

I have an iPhone XR with an Otterbox defender case for work. While it will charge the phone through the case, it does have to be placed on the charger in what I will call the "sweet spot", then it charges perfectly.

I’ve had multiple people use the pad ! With a case and without! If you’re wearing a case, you might have to move it around until the charging light comes on. especially with thicker material! But otter box on iPhone did charge while on!
