“It comes with picture not written explanations. One shows that 3 colors of light might be shown - mine is working with no light, is it broken? A red X and ! apparently means not to put a watch or keys(?) on the space for charging earbuds. But why?”

Mines works too with no lights shown at all. The instructions were terrible but I love how fast everything charges

A white LED light confirms your AirPods are aligned and charging optimally, while an amber LED light alerts you when your AirPods aren’t aligned or there’s another object (foreign objects like metals that will interfere the charging process) getting in the way of your charge.
