• Not sure, I'd ask Geek Squad. My iPhone 8 rejected it. Annoyed with Apple.

• Hi, Baku. The Belkin F8J198 adapter is designed to listen and charge your lightning device(s) simultaneously. It doesn't have a microphone capability.
