“Do I have to charge, if the phone is charged will the iphone jack still work, then only plug in to charge when i need it”

• You can use the audio port only if you need, and plug in your power cord when / if you need. I stream music to a speaker at work with it and plug in the power adapter after lunch or I have a dead phone before I get home.
