• The Ultimate Pro has backlit keys and the iPad detaches from the keyboard. The Ultimate is not backlit and it is connected to the keyboard, but can fold down so the keys aren't showing; especially helpful when you want to use the iPad as an iPad and not as a mini-laptop.

• Just from comparing the two on Best Buy's website it looks to me like the keyboard on the Pro is back light whereas the one I purchased is not. I believe you can also sync the Pro to mutliple devices
