Hi, Kady1255. Our Belkin AVC002 is compatible with mobile devices and laptops that have a video-enabled USB-C port. It has also been tested to work with Thunderbolt™ 3 port-compatible devices and the following devices: MacBook Pro 13" M1 (2020), MacBook Air 13" M1 (2020) and Mac mini M1 (2020). Also, the unit itself allows you to connect an HDMI port for video display and a USB-C port for power.

I went on their website looking for simple instructions on how to use it with no luck. Searched for software or drivers and found nothing. Additionally, their 24 hour chat feature actually means u have to wait 24hrs for someone to answer ur question in chat or theyre out to lunch on sunday nights. Its been an hour and it still says an agents on the way..what a joke. Thank you tho for the one sentence u gave in ur reply saying the usb-c is for a power hookup. I didnt know this and i thought if ur computer didnt have a hdmi that the usb to c cord was usable for this to work but apparently not. Thanks
