“I have a camera with USB A 2.0 output. Need to convert camera video signal to HDMI to feed a video switcher. The camera requires 5V USB power present on the output to operate. Will this device provide USB power back to the camera? If not what to do?”

The device includes a USB C port to keep a phone charged/powered. I don't see why it would not work for a camera.

You need a USB-A to HDMI video converter that provides 5V power to your camera. The Belkin AVC002 will not provide power to your camera in this setup.
