It works great we have an IPhone 8 Plus & NO need to remove the case. For the price I recommend it. It works very well.

You do not need to remove the case on the phone. The phone needs to sit squarely in the middle of the charging station and it will tell you it is charging wirelessly. I do not know about the iphone, i have a samsung galaxy and have no problem. I keep one upstairs, one downstairs and even a spare in my car. I had a problem with my phone charging with the cord because of my phone and it could not be fixed. It was damaged so it was sometimes charging and sometimes not. I have absolutley no problem with these charging every time, and they charge quicker than they did with the cord. I am sure you can find it for your iphone, just make sure it says on the box it supports your phone. I will say about 18 mos after i bought my first one it stopped charging and i thought it was my phone but it was the charger. Getting a new one fixed the problem and you can get a really good one anywhere from $25 to $100, but they do wear out.

Yes it does work for lphone XS Max. No you don't have to remove the case when charging. Great product!!!
