“What is the thickness/sturdiness of the glass carafe? On my last coffee maker (not Bella), the carafe's glass was so thin, like a wine glass, that I accidentally broke it while washing it after only a couple weeks and never found a suitable replacement.”

The carafe seems pretty thin. I am EXTREMELY careful when cleaning it. So far so good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The thickness of the glass is thick enough. Try not to bump it against anything because it will crack or break. I clean the carafe with a drop of dish soap and hot water to create suds. I let it sit for awhile then I rinse it out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's thick enough to handle a few bumps here and there. I've bumped mine against our granite counter tops and in the sink while cleaning the pot and have had no issues. Much thicker than a wine glass that's for sure.
