Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would first try startIng with the dials in the "off" position. I would then go about opening the basket and inserting the food into the basket. I would then make sure the basket was securely closed. I would then set the temperature dial to the desired temperature. I would finally proceed to set the timer to the desired cooking temperature. When setting the timer, the light should then turn on and the machine should start the cooking process.
