• I am sorry, I got the two crocks mixed up, this particular crock set is 1.5 quarts per unit and I think will be great for dips and appetizers for big gatherings.

• This size is perfect for small families, couples or singles. I will meal prep 3 complerely different meals on the weekend for the week yielding a couple of servings for this single. And cooking them all at the same time.
