“Why did the manufacturer answer a question about heating hot fudge and caramel, etc by saying they don't recommend doing that? I use a slow cooker for nacho cheese, I don't see how it's that's so different. Please explain.”

• Hot Fudge and Caramel have so much sugar in them that they will tend to burn faster, than your cheddar cheese will, and even the "Warm Setting" won't be cool enough to keep them from burning.
