Hello, thanks for reaching out. Operating Instructions: CAUTION: blade is sharp. Handle carefully. 1. Place the Meat Slicer on a hard, flat and level work surface. 2. Make sure that the blade is installed securely and the surrounding work area is clear and unobstructed. 3. Place food to be sliced on the sliding feed table. Press the meat grip into the food and then push up against the thickness guide. Use the handle to pull the sliding feed table with food against the blade. NOTE: Maximum size of food to be sliced is: 4.25” long x 4.25” wide x 3.5” thick. 4. Set the desired cutting thickness by turning the thickness adjustment knob. There are 5 thickness settings: 5= 5/8”,4= 4/8”, 3= 3/8”, 2= 2/8”, 1= 1/8”. (See Figure 2.) Turning the Knob counter clockwise will increase the thickness of the slice. Have a nice day.
