“Does there need to be air space above or behind this product when its on the counter?”

• Yes 2" on the back and left side, but on the right side you need abit more than 2" thats where fan vent is located.

• I was taking things off the unit when I operated it and moved it away from the wall , but I just used it's toaster function and left it where it was and it stayed relatively cool. I'll still probably use caution when broiling and roasting.
