“If I want to set the timer at seven minutes, for example, where do I place the line on the knob? Because there are six markers between zero and 10 each dot represents one plus a fraction of a minute. I haven’t been able to figure it out.”

I really don’t know but what works for me instance when preheating for 5 minutes is to turn the knob from zero to 5 dots down if I feel it didn’t get to hot I do another 2 minutes when cooking I’ll go less time first and then add as needed. You can always open the drawer to check
