please help..how do you get the bottom open to clean? null

There are two slide out crumb trays on the bottom back of the unit.

To clean the crumbs that have collected in the toaster, you would need to unplug the unit and slide out the crumb trays on the back side of the toaster. There is a crumb tray for each toaster.

There is a slot with tray you pull out to empty and clean

Unplug the toaster. Turn the toaster so you can see the back of it. Reach under the back of each toaster slot, and there will be a small crumb drawer to pull out. Hope this helps!

You access the crumb trays from the back of toaster....at first can be difficult to find as they blend in with overall design.
