Hi. You don't need to press any settings button for the toaster to work. Just slide to your desired darkness setting and you're good to go.

Just put the bread in and push the handle down. Depending on how you like your bread I wouldn't start past two and go from there. If it is not enough you can put it back in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recently bought this one as well and I find it best to set the number between 2-3 and just push the lever down till it locks. I didn’t have to push any other button and it toast the bread perfectly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The slide button is for any bread item. The bagel button can be pushed after you slide the toasting button down. It helps get the bagel more toasted due to the thickness of a bagel.
