• Maybe the base is not tightly sealed or attached with the clear plastic glass or the cap is not tightly sealed with the clear glass or it needs a little bit of water first before putting other things inside. Mine goes with the black cord. I would like to buy the same one again.

• Make sure you press the button continuosly. Otherwise it will not start. Have to have pressure on the start button at all times to make it work.
