After charging, when I push the power button twice, nothing happens - any suggestions other than returning it? null

I had the same problem and tightened the bottom of the jar to activate the connection and it solved the problem.  The instruction booklet stated that in the print somewhere after I read it later.

Make sure both top and bottom line are closed properly

Its either overfilled or base has gotten lose

If the bottle  is not screwed on exactly  right it wont do anything.the good news is when you screw the bottle on right the light will blink couple times.
