• Yes, mine blinks also. It doesn't bother me, but you could always unplug it when not using.

• I contacted customer service. They said return it for an exchange as this is not normal. Received a second unit. Same problem. They said return it. Thus I gave up and found another air fryer. A blinking light is annoying. Good luck.
