It would help the process if you turn off the water and save you from having water spill on the ground etc. Make sure you turn off all water prior to disconnecting anything. They will remove and install if you ordered installation. If you can remove your old one safely it would speed the process.

1. If you ordered it with delivery and haul off, and are installing it yourself, you will have to disconnect and remove it from the cavity yourself, so they can hand truck it out and hand truck your new one in.
2. If you ordered it with installation, the installer will disconnect it, then install the new one. If you also order haul off, they will hand truck the old one out.

Just have my dishwasher replaced. They take care of everything. From check wire and tube connections, remove the old one, install and test run the new machine. There’s one thing you could help, to shut off the dishwasher circuit breaker.

Yes...uninstall your dishwasher. It is pretty simple. They can uninstall and haul off for you for a fee. I donated my old one.
