If your vacuum model number is 1823 then when you look at the Bissell website you need to use model number 1825. When I was trying to register the vacuum I had to call their support line because I could not find model # 1823. The tech told me that to use model # 1825 because they are the same even for parts. I looked up the part number for the vacuum 1825 and it is 2031093. You should be able to use that number in a google search to find different companies that sell the belt.
