When I plug in the Yeti mic I can't head anything with or without head phones unless I unplug it. I can record myself (I am using Waves) but if I want to play back the recording I can't hear it unless I unplug the mic. null

You should be able to hear the playback of your headphones are plugged into the mic. If not, you will need to unplug the mic in order to hear the playback.

Hello arby, the Yeti mic does not feature a playback speaker built in. The mic is designed to capture audio, by plugging in a headset on the bottom of the unit, you can monitor what you are recording or listen to yourself while you record.
