• The frequency response on the Snowball iCE is 40Hz-18kHz. The low E on a 4-string bass is about 41Hz... so technically, it can handle it, but it is not ideal. Stepping up to the Yeti line (Nano or the Standard Yeti) would be able to handle the bass response better with a frequency range of 20Hz-20kHz. All of the Blue USB microphones have a standard microphone mount threading built-in.

• I'm not sure if this will help, but I have a deep, low voice, and it works very well when I'm game streaming with my son. Not sure about the mount though.
