From my experience so far though I do not record musically, there is no fuzz. There are many settings for what mode you can use. Including one for instruments and voice.

So if you were to compare the sound to something within the headphones platform, recordings on this microphone would sound more like a pair of AudioTechnica's or even Byerdynamics as opposed to a pair of the Sennheiser 650s/660s or even a more neutral pair of bowers and wilkons. If you want the Sennheiser sound and more freedom to move, choose the professional yeti version or a Rode microphone. If you want more of a neutral sound, try something, ironically enough, from audio technica's line up, or even the Samson line-up instead. Hope this helps!
