What filter does this humidifier need and how often does it need to be changed? Thanks null

This filter is washable and reusable for up to a year. I wash it out every three days because it’s so easy and quick to to do. This keeps my filter always clean and sanitary. I soak it in very hot water for a few minutes and then run hot tap water over the the whole filter for half a minute or so, then I rinse it in cold water,squeeze out the excess
 water and put the filter back in the unit. Quick and easy. I’ve only been using this humidifier for three months so I can’t tell you what it looks like after 12 months.
