• My case is A1466 I wanna know if this newer version will be compatible as the older versions are sold out.

• Hey! This case will work with the new and old models from 2016-2019. Check the "AXXXX" # on the bottom of your MacBook - this case is for the A1706/A1708/A1989/A2159. If your case is A1466 or A1369 (2012-2015) then you need the other bluebonnet case that's also available.
