No this is for phone calls and such... Nothing along the lines for a walkie talkie.

Hello Kay- The Blue Parrott B450-XT is designed to pair with smartphones and tablets. Unfortunately, you would not be able to use the headset itself for announcements. You will have to pair your Blue Parrott headset with a smartphone or tablet for music listening and taking calls.
