“Is there any way to turn off or at least make changes to standby mode? It causes the mouse to disconnect way too often.”

• Not sure about that, but my mouse stays on at work all day and I never have a problem with that . There is a button on the underside to switch off , but most of the time I forget to do that , I think that only saves the battery .

• Yes. Slide the button right to "off." The on/off switch is on the bottom and for ease of understanding is labeled "on/off."

• There's a switch on the bottom, just turn it off when not in use.
