“So if I use the 3 months prepaid service, do I get disconnected? I'm not sure why I received an email from boost mobile that I have an upcoming bill due. It says the bill due on July 30 and typically that is the disconnection not the renewal date.”

It will renew for another 3 month plan unless you switch to a different plan
