Hi Marv. Thank you for your question. Model:SHEM3AY55N does include a direct power cord. If you wish to hard wire the dishwasher, you will also need to purchase our Junction Box #SMZPCJB1UC.

It can be plugged directly into a hundred and twenty volt grounded wall outlet. It comes with a specialized cord that connects to the back of the dishwasher and the other end is a standard hundred twenty volt grounded plug. Best Buy does provide at no additional cost the accessory cord that Bosch makes which plugs directly into the Bosch dishwasher and allows you to hardwire the other end into an electrical box. So you have two options to wire this dishwasher.
