“My new hardwood flooring is getting warped from the steam of my current dishwasher. Before I replace the warped boards I need to find a dishwasher that does not vent from the bottom. Is this bosch dishwasher ventless from the bottom?”

Hi flatback, thanks for your question and for your interest in model SHE3AR75UC. There’s an external vent hole on the side of the dishwasher. We recommend checking out the “Appliance Overview” on page 11 of the Use & Care manual to view this vent’s location. Steam is also vented through our PureDry® condensation drying technology that lets moisture drain away. PureDry® is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. This process works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The water droplets are then drained from the tub. It’s also important to note that there should not be an issue with steam or water damage when the dishwasher is properly installed.
