We have a musty smell on our clean dishes. We had a plumber come out today and everything is installed correctly. He said it's most likely the unit itself. We currently flush it every time we run it. Any ideas on how to prevent the smell? null

I don't have a problem with a musty smell after a month's usage. In fact, using the dishwasher products that came with the unit, my whole kitchen smells very fresh after a dishwasher run.

See one of the answers above about the drain hose being installed higher than the disposal.
