it’s a metallic screen on the floor/bottom when you open it you should see it. twist the round part and the whole thing should pop out to clean

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi clearasglassr, thank you for your question regarding Model:SHPM65Z55N. The large object trap is in the center of the floor of the Dishwasher. The Dishwasher does not need to be moved in any way in order to remove this. To clean the filter: Unscrew the Large Object Trap and remove the entire filter system. Remove the microfilter from the fine filter for easier cleaning. Rinse the filters under running water and use a soft brush to clean. Note: do not use abrasive brushes or steel wool, etc., as they may damage the filter. Reinstall the filter system in reverse sequence and lock into place by screwing the Large Object Trap until the marking arrows align.
