- Answer Yes and yes. You can open the door and the controls are functional. When you close it, it will all be hidden and there will be a red light shining on the floor to indicate washing is in process. When it’s done, it’ll turn off.

QuestionI want to put the glassware holders down since they do not fit my stemware but I can't move them without feeling like they will break. This is my second Bosch dishwasher and in my older, almost identical model, it was easy to move the holders up or down.
