Hi nadine, thank you for your question and interest in Model:HMV8053U. This Convection OTR Oven does have settings for baking items such as dinner rolls, biscuits, brownies, cookies and pastries. However, there is not a setting for toast.

No it is not a toaster and does not have an exposed heating element, it does have a convection oven so you could make frozen Texas toast style bread in it using the convection oven feature.
