Hi Eagle2, thank you for your question and interest in Model:B36CT80SNS. The Ice Bin is 13" in width x 14" in length. You might be able to try a smaller size, however this is designed to catch all of the ice that the ice maker delivers. In fact, if needed, the ice bin can be removed and the entire top tray can be used for ice.
