I’m unable to hear mine run. The only way I know it’s running is a red light that shines on the floor
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We just had ours installed this past Saturday. Ours is so quiet we had to open it to make sure it was actually washing. I would say yes, you got a bad unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We just replaced our 7 year old Bosch (same series) with the BOSCH 80 SHXM98W75N and it is extremely quiet (we had to turn off the TV just to make sure it was running) Much quieter than our previous Bosch 800 series
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We have had this model for about three weeks and it replaced a similar Bosch dishwasher. It is whisper quiet. We no longer use the delay and put it straight on and even then have to check it’s working it is so quiet !

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ours is extremely quiet. The first Bosch we had we got in 2005, and this is our 3rd. The others were quiet, but this one even more so. I have to remind myself to look for the light underneath to see if it is running as we have opened it several times mid cycle. We entertain family a great deal in the kitchen and do the dishes as they come in to keep up with things. Our guests are always surprised when they find out the dishwasher was running the entire time they were standing next to it. Every once in awhile, when we wash large aluminum baking sheets we can here a slight splashing/gurgling sound, but that is very, very rare.
