“My new Bosch 800 dishwasher is now installed. First load of dishes is being washed using the Auto factory setting. Red light is shining on the floor. When I bend down to look at the panel display nothing is lit up. Cycle time remaining not showing??”

As long as the red light is shining on the floor, my new Bosch is on. I do not see lights on the panel then. However, if you open the door during the cycle, you should see the settings lit up...and the red light on the floor will go off when the door is open during the cycle, but returns once the door is closed and the cycle resumes. I hope you like your super-silent Bosch, too!

Per the Use and Care Manual for the 800 Series Dishwasher with Bar Handle: If Display does not illuminate - A fuse may have been blown or circuit breaker tripped. Check the fuse or circuit breaker box and replace the fuse or reset the breaker if necessary. Door not closed or latched - Note: For models with controls on top of the door, the display only illuminates when the door is opened and controls are visible.Ensure door is properly latched and completely closed.
