Yes, the third tray has slots where silverware can be lined up for washing. You can put shallow things or odd pieces like lids, spatulas.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes....has slots for si.verware. But I use it much more for all the baking utensils I use as I cook a lot. You can lay them horizontally or vertically into the rack. I love, love this feature and didn’t know if I would. The whole rack can be removed. I wish it could just be lowered a bit but that is not an option like in the regular top rack.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes - the top/3rd tray works great for silverware - and yes, there are slats the top tray to separate the utensils.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can place silverware (in slats), lids, spatulas, small plates or shallow bowls.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 3d tray provides space in the very top of the unit. It is no more than 3 inches in the area that pops down into the middle tray area. That allows for slightly larger things to be put on the top 3rd try if space bellow is available. Without the pop-down the top tray allow for flatware and other utensils to be arranged horizontally (laid flat) across the tray. There is no flatware container on the 3rd rack as there is on the 1st or bottom rack.
