Is the utensils basket removable? null

Yes, you can remove the utensil basket. But the one on my 800 does not split in half. I wish it did. The upper 3rd rack is also removable.

Yes. The basket is removable. You can also take out the very top try which would be used for silverware as well.

No basket is not designed to be removed. it does adjust up or down 2 positions.
