PRO: They are hidden from kids who want to push the buttons. Also it has a better look. CON: there is a led that shines on the floor to let you know it’s running and the Door beeps when it closes. Your just not sure how far along you are at a glance. It’s easy to restart but you need to interrupt the cycle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Purely looks from a functionality standpoint. Some people may not like the inside controls, but for a parent of young kids, it’s helpful that they don’t press buttons and shut it off randomly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We would say mostly aesthetics. Its is probably more of a personal preference. The dishwasher works great. The only thing we noticed was you have to be careful when closing the lid not to accidently hit one of the buttons on the top of the lid and set something off accidently. That is the only drawback we can think of. Its not a big thing.
